VPN with FRITZ!Repeater

A virtual private network (VPN) allows you to establish bug-proof encrypted connections over the internet to your FRITZ!Repeater and all devices in the home network.

You can configure VPN connections to the FRITZ!Repeater with a smartphone, tablet, or computer. You can also connect other FRITZ! networks with the FRITZ!Repeater. The FRITZ!Repeater supports two different VPN solutions for this purpose:

• The established IPSec is supported directly by many operating systems and also allows you to establish VPN connections between the FRITZ!Repeater and a company's VPN.
• The modern WireGuard makes it especially fast and easy to create a VPN connection. On smartphones and tablets, all you have to do is scan a QR code, for example.

• Connecting two FRITZ! networks with each other (LAN-LAN linkup)
• Connecting the FRITZ!Repeater with a company's VPN
• Connecting an Android smartphone or tablet with the FRITZ!Repeater
• Connecting an iPhone or iPad with the FRITZ!Repeater
• Connecting a macOS computer with the FRITZ!Repeater
• Connecting a Linux computer with the FRITZ!Repeater
